Machen, Christianity and Liberalism

Just over 100 years ago, Machen fought to preserve core doctrines of the Church against attacks of liberal pastors and theologians who, under the guise of seeking coherence with modern science, sought to coopt individual churches and entire denominations by weakening the authority of the Bible and corrupting the gospel and the work of Christ. Christianity and Liberalism was a powerful argument against the enemies of the cross then and remains so today.
